BIOGRAPHY

Lexi Lang is a 22 year old hard of hearing actress, singer, and playwright. She received her Bachelor of Arts (Major in Musical Theatre) in May of 2024. She prides herself on advocating for the deaf and hard of hearing community. Lexi also loves all things Barbie and pink. She hopes to use her voice to change the world for the better.

the saga of bee and eddie (excerpt)

This piece is a reimagined, feminist, unauthorized parody of the Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer. It discusses many of the problematic ideas Meyer pushes in her writing. It was previously workshopped in Heidelberg University's Little Theater.

Synopsis: When Bee Sparrow moved to Spoons, she never expected to fall in love with Eddie Vullen. Suddenly her boring life became filled with chaos, danger, and... vampires? Yet, when Eddie Vullen first saw Bee, he was immediately drawn to her. His fascination for her grows alongside his urge to protect her from himself. Can they both stay true to themselves while being in love with one another?

Vexing Happiness (excerpt)

This piece is based on Lexi's personal experience and the testimonials of her friends. Her goal with this piece is to reveal the harsh reality of being a woman in today’s society. She hopes it will leave you thinking about your relationships, friendships, and how you treat others.

Synopsis: Nova decides her 17th birthday party is the perfect time to reconcile with her ex-best friend, Xander. Before they can talk, Nova is attacked by her current best friend, George. Now, she has to deal with reconnecting with Xander as she attempts to find peace with what happened to her, all while her mind plays tricks on her, making her see George wherever she goes.
